My whole family and I had our vacation at O'Leary's in 2014. The new owner is great!! He really cares about his guests, and goes out of his way to make you comfortable. The beach is only a two minute walk. We had parking at our cottage, so there was no need to take the car. Downtown Sauble is right there, yet the resort was really quiet. We really enjoyed our stay, and I would highly recommend a vacation there.

Awesome place for a family reunion. We each had our own private cottage and plenty of room to hang out together as a group as well. Family oriented and quiet. Very close to the beach and to shopping. We highly recommend Oleary's whether it is for a group get together or for a family vacation.

My whole family went to O'Leary's Beach Cottages last week. When we arrived, we were so pleasantly surprised to find the Resort just across from Sauble Beach making access throughout the week just awesome! From where we stayed, in the Manitoba Cottage, our kids had one cabin for sleeping and we had the other. This provided the closeness we wanted with the quiet privacy both kids and adults prefer. Within the cottage areas, we had a private fire pit and picnic table area away from the other cottagers surrounded by trees giving it a woodsy feel while still close enough that our friends in other cottages could easily pop by for a visit. 2 minutes to the main Sauble strip meant we didn't need to use our car for anything near by. Shopping and night life was all just a couple of steps away. The full kitchen with full sized fridge, stove and dishes meant we could save a few $$ on meals by not eating out and we didn't have to pack those cumbersome pots and pans! The air conditioning in our cottage gave us a much needed reprieve from the 30+ degree weather and made for a very comfortable sleep. With Wi-Fi onsite, I was able to log into work and make sure I wasn't missing anything pressing while away for a week. Rich and Rose, the owners of this awesome place are wonderful hosts. They even made a point of coming around to each cottage to introduce themselves and make sure we were all comfortable and had everything we need. Rose even joined in on an afternoon of kayaking on the lake! The kayaks are available at the resort for rent so, patrons don't have to go searching for available rentals. Simply advise what you need and the boats, paddles and lifejackets in pristine condition were supplied in just minutes! From arrival to departure, we had a fantastic experience! We'll be back again next year for sure!
