Motel is a hidden gem. They are have been renovating it and have done a great job. The staff bent over backwards to help us out. We will most definitely stay there again.

Great motel. We had to stop due to weather as we were riding a motorcycle. Rooms was clean, well maintained and awesome pricing. It was a pleasure staying there and would definitely go back if we were back in the area.

What can one say about a motel? Clean rooms, well mantained, bright, modern, and equipped with the standard fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Beds had very nice blankets and were comfortable. There was a tv, but we played board games instead. Bathroom had a nice tub with standard shower, hair dryer, and sink. Bonus was a closet just inside the door with plenty of room for winter coats. Plenty of room at the desk and table for two to work at a laptop, or play a game. Nice location along the highway, without being too noisy. It's winter, so the gazebo and BBQ weren't available. Not sure if there are more attractions to be enjoyed in summer. Nice thing for us was the Wendy's and Tim Hortons in a shared building right across the highway from the motel. Wendy's has gluten-free options for my daughter to eat, so suppers were easy. Ice cream parlor next door to Wendy's had homemade fudge and waffle cones with Farquar Dairy Ice Cream. We came to Espanola for a speech competition for my daughter. Coming weather made us travel early to make sure we wouldn't get stuck on the way. Turned out the competition was a day later than we had scheduled, so we ended up staying a second night. Motel management accommodated us very fairly for the second night and were very friendly the entire time. Totally earned a sixth star on their customer service. With the added day we got to drive around and saw several deer and some sandhill cranes just coming north in their migration pattern. Made me sad that we got to see it all on a grey, cloudy, near-spring day, but I would think it's a beautiful place in the summer or winter.
