My stay with the Baymont was decent. Jasmine, the young lady at the front desk is the most polite and patient person I have ever met. I went with my elderly mother and Jasmine helped us take our bags up to our room and everything. Service was amazing. Only complaint is that they don’t have any working vending machines and none of the windows have an outside view from the room. The halls smelled like cigarettes the whole time but it didn’t bother us even tho they advertise as a smoke free facility.

This place used to be a SLEEP IN MOTEL. The management is new and the hotel needs an upgrade on everything. No air conditioning, carpet is filthy, no microwaves in the room, no refrigerators in the room, only one ice machine that works every now and then. We came to stay for a whole week on a convention package but we will never ever never stay at a Baymont Hotel no matter where it is all the Wyndham shame ever again! We are senior citizens who deserve better and will not settle on nothing less.

I highly suggest that you don't stay there. This place was so disgusting and nasty. The air conditioning didn't cool off the room and it was on all day and night. The carpet was wet by the bathroom floor and the room smell like mildew from the wet carpet. The bathtub was dirty just not clean. That weekend there was NO other hotels available due to they was all book from a concert that weekend June 30. NEVER would I stay there again I'll sleep in my car.

The room is clean enough. However it is unbearably hot as soon as one enters the hallways. No elevators, no microwave, no mini refrigerator, but the smell of mold is overwhelming. Television wasn't work which is disappointing seeing it's the only luxury in the room. The housekeeping staff was the best part and the free breakfast was adequate. It should be less than $100 a night but for a big event the price is over that amount. Hopefully soon Baymont will catch up to the revitalization wave happening in downtown Detroit.

My stay was great, thanks to Jasmine. She was the best, very professional and friendly. Thanks to Jasmine, I was able to enjoy my get away from my kids! Down part was the rooms weren’t too great but you get what you pay for and overall it was an okay room.
