Enjoyed a one night stay - would give 4.5 stars if possible. Room was upgraded to a king suite without request. Breakfast had standard items for this chain, but food was kept hot and frequently replenished. All staff were actively friendly and pleasant. The hotel manager was personally greeting guests in the lobby while he passed through. Downside was a shallow 3ft. pool heavily chlorinated, and some funky/ slow elevator operations.

I liked this place very much. It's a go to place when visiting the convention center area in Detroit. I only wish the walk at night to and from the CC felt safer. It's not the hotels fault but they need to refresh the city and make it more tourist friendly.

The staff was super nice from the front desk to the valet. The room was fine. However, we couldn't get another blanket when were getting ready for bed after a concert. Set up the pull out couch with sheets and pillow supplied in the room but no blanket. Apparently after 10pm the area where they are kept is locked up and off limits to the staff. How crazy is that? My teenager daughter was basically bundled up in sweatshirts and extra sheets to stay warm. There is approximately 8,000 hotels in downtown Detroit. I would imagine they have access to a few extra blankets. I will check one of them out next time.

Solid hotel. The hotel itself has been renovated and you can see areas where the past still shows itself. The pool is not the best, but not horrible. The breakfast crew and staff are AMAZING! The beds are ok, the climate control for the rooms is decent. The rooms I found were a touch smaller than I would have thought. Overall, solid place to stay in the downtown area.

I have been traveling for work and staying at the hotel for most of the last two months. Service is great. Front desk and valet folks are super friendly. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. They serve a free breakfast and have coffee ready all day, which is more than can be said of any of the other hotels downtown. And the rates are better too!
