For a little motel/hotel in the middle of all the action in Niagara Falls this is a really comfy, quiet, clean place to stay. The staff is polite and the rooms are fair with all the amenities. We walked to the falls in less than 15 minutes. The pool is closed for maintenance but looks great when in operation. Our room had a huge jacuzzi. We'd stay again for sure, we're saying 5 star cuz of cleanliness and comfort.

This place has been great. We booked last minute when we decided to come into Canada and they were so hospitable. We checked in at 1:30am and they assisted. We had three beds for the five adults and it worked perfectly. The showers were so terrific! The owner is so nice and helpful! Sunset Inn is amazing!

Based on most of the positive reviews I booked a room at this hotel. Unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. Each time we left our room we needed to go to the office and get someone to unlock the door, which didn't seem to be a problem for them to unlock it making me wonder how long has this been a problem? The room didn't have toiletries in the bathroom, luckily we brought some. The sink, toilet and tub were outdated light brown color, and the toilet was shut off when we arrived. After I turned on the valve, we found that the toilet runs all the time. The tiles were outdated as well, No hair dryer, radio, coffee maker, kettle, or phone either. I like to have the radio on in the mornings before getting up. The room was not serviced during our stay, very odd. The room smelled like cigarettes. The staff is quite friendly, "Don't worry, be happy" is their motto.

This Motel is close to everything. The owner is very nice and helped our family have a great stay. The room could have been a little cleaner when we first got there. But for a motel we were very happy. No bugs comfortable beds and everything worked in the room. I would recommend staying here and would stay again myself...

The place wasn't packed so the owner offered us a discounted price in a high-end room. He and his family were very pleasant and friendly. The room decor was dated (80's) but it was VERY clean. We checked sheets, mattress for bugs, and the bathroom and ALL came up clean. 🙂 The bed sheets were bright white and crisp, and we received a second sheet upon asking (I don't sleep under the bed "covers" motels tend to use). The Jacuzzi and jets were also clean when we tested it and the bathroom was freshly caulked and well-maintained. The AC was older but kept the room cool and our key deposit was returned without issue. 😀 We were very happy with our stay and will be returning!
