We had a little mishap with the dates on our reservation and the manager did what he could to help us and still offer us a room. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. In a very nice area and walking distance to many places. I would definitely recommend it. It only needs a pool.

Great location--walking distance to The Anchor Bar(Home of the original Buffalo Chicken Wing) as well as other restaurants/bars. Rooms were great--staff was very friendly and professional. Free parking in a downtown hotel is also a nice bonus. Complimentary Breakfast was better than most. A nice place to stay for business or leisure.

Excellent... Was there for several medical consultations, so it was not necessarily a 'good times ' trip. Staying at the BW On The Avenue, made the 400 mile trip enjoyable . From the courtesy of the employees, to the overall quality of the hotel, there's no doubt we will be back. If anyone is going to Roswell Park , give Best Western - On The Avenue a good look. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Back again on the 5/4/17. Again, the staff was fantastic. They really go put of their way to make your stay pleasant. June 2, 2018 Have now stayed at this Best Western for about 15 nights in the past 13 months. It's been recently updated and are continuing to make improvements. The staff is fantastic and we will continue to stay there when we return to Buffalo.

Haven't stayed in 6 years and have to say they have done so much to his fine hotel. Offering buffet breakfasts now. Danielle at the desk was the best. Stayed while seeing a concert at Town Hall Ballroom and a 10 minute walk.

Stayed here for my daughter's college orientation and this was the worst Best Western I've ever stayed in. It had no fridge and when I called the front desk she declined to provide me with one.Not to mention the on going construction in the next room in the day for six hours. This made it hard for me to rest. The manager Troy came and provided us with a fridge and apologized for the noise. On the last day, I asked for a late check out due to my lack of rest and the front desk wasn't as friendly. To top it off the water was shut off an hour before I checked out. I appreciate Troy's help but, it wasn't a pleasant experience.
