I've stayed here twice now. And for the most part its alright but, Communal style living isn't fun nor comfortable. But, $30 a night is the best price you'll find in downtown buffalo. So If you're young and need somewhere to stay for a couple nights then the Hostel will work fine but, its not for everybody and it's not for couples and you'll want privacy. They do have a few single rooms available but those were full when i checked in. Make sure you do a reservation for the single rooms before going.

It's a hostel, not a fancy hotel. But the staff were super-friendly, the place was crawling with books to read, and they gave us a discount because we were traveling by bike. We were able to get a private bedroom, which worked out great for our kids.

Easy to find on Main St and clean location. Friendly staff and very helpful. Only stayed one night in the mixed dorm, but very simple to check in and get to sleep when I needed. It's exactly what I expected for my first hostel stay.

Solid hostel. Clean all around and most beds quiet, mine was comfortable. Didn't partake in breakfast but was offered. Bathrooms adequate on all accounts. Secure access with three points of access.

Quirky cool place to stay. Great location right downtown. First time I ever stayed in a hostel and it was exactly what I expected. I was in town to get my passport so all I needed was a bed to crash in and this fit the bill. Stayed in a women's dorm on a bunk bed. The train outside was a little loud in the middle of the night but I managed to sleep through it. They provided bed linens and towels. If you need to lock something up though make sure you bring a lock because they may run out.
