I stayed at the Bayview May 15 - 17 / 19. I have traveled a lot and have never felt more at home than I did there. The Owner Jamie and his Staff are very friendly and truly go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The rooms are clean the bed is comfortable and the view is awesome! I will be back in Fort Frances this summer and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thank you Jamie..

I had the wonderful pleasure of staying at The Bayview for the past month while here for work. If there was anything I needed, Jamie was right on it with an almost immediate response. You can tell the passion the owners have for ensuring your stay is a great one. Though currently still in the process of renovations, the rooms both old and new are very clean and cozy, perfect for those cold winter nights. I highly recommend you stay at The Bayview Motel if your adventures ever bring you to Fort Frances! I will definitely be staying here again!

Cute,clean,affordable,newly renovated and super friendly staff. We were a big family of 12-15 visiting Fort Frances for a family function. Jamie,one of the owners, was so kind. He set us up side by side and in the suites facing Rainy Lake. There is a corner store/tackle shop pretty much next door,and a phenomenal home cooking eatery called The Harbourage two doors down. Across the street is easy access to the lakes promenade. Close enough to downtown for a longer walk or a short drive. We were so happy that we chose The Bayview Motel and will most certainly be back.

My wife and I were passing through Fort Frances this past weekend and found the Bayview online. We decided to stay a night as we were pretty tired. The newly updated room we got was awesome! All new bedding and towels, super comfy bed, amazing WIFI and the view of the lake in the morning was really nice to wake up to. We would definitely stay here again. It's a pretty unique place and they've done a really nice job!

Beautiful place by the water. And oh so clean! My husband and I drove from Winnipeg to meet friends from Thunder Bay in Fort Francis. We were all in desperate need of a weekend away. Our expectations were met and surpassed by a landslide at this gem of a motel. The owner, Jamie, was so welcoming and genuinely excited to show us his new property. You can tell how much heart and soul this motel has from the owners. It was so nice to see! The rooms are modern and bright with crisp white linens and oh so clean! I felt immediately comfortable and impressed with the small touches: a Keurig coffee maker with coffee, tea and ceramic mugs; a microwave and fridge; and a cute note letting you know to call them if you've forgotten anything (we needed ice for our cooler on the way home and Jamie was more than happy to grab us some). The bathroom was impeccably clean and the products provided were top notch (and eco friendly). The view from our room was gorgeous. You are so close to the water here! We were able to take a walk with our morning coffee to enjoy the view and wildlife of the lake. We enjoyed our stay so much, we plan to meet there again in the fall! Thank you Jamie and Myles for opening such a lovely place in beautiful Northwestern Ontario. We'll be back soon.
