The hotel staff was incredible! It started with the breakfast waitresses. Our first morning we had an amazing breakfast in the restaurant, which is included in the room price. We have three kids 5 and under. We were a bit loud and a little bit more messy. The waitresses were so friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcomed and not a burden. It continued at lunch, when we sat on the deck and enjoyed the Mountain View with service that was the best I have ever experienced at a hotel! It’s a great spot for kids with a great pool, a huge safe parking lot for biking, and a monster field to run around in. I can’t say enough about this place. We will never stay anywhere else when visiting Thunder Bay!

We had a good stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. I liked that there is a sliding door to go outside and you can park right in front of your room. The complimentary breakfast was very good but the restaurant could have been a little bigger so there wouldn't be as much of a wait when it gets busy. The only other problem was that there was a dog in the next room that cried all night keeping us up even though they have a no pets policy. Overall it was a good two night stay and I would probably stay again.

Beautiful property and views! The room doors are automatic so we heard slamming doors all night long. We had a patio door but you can't lock it from the outside, so you still need to use the main doors. Full breakfast included in price. Food was so-so. Fire alarm went off at 2 AM for a half hour and NO ONE told us we didn't have to stay outside until I called the front desk and found out it was a "heat sensor" that went off. Rooms are nice, beds are comfy. Front desk staff is extremely nice and helpful!

I have been staying at this hotel for years. Just outside Thunder Bay. Nice quiet location beautiful grounds. I don't understand why anyone would stay anywhere else. Great Staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. Good value. This is the place to stay in Thunder Bay

After a week of camping, my sons and I decided to splurge on a hotel in Thunder Bay. Despite being part of a rewards program with another hotel chain, we chose the Best Western because of its online ratings, beautiful location and friendly staff. The people who checked us in and out were very welcoming and even provided us with delightful recommendations for sights to see and do in the area. It was definitely worth the splurge and was a fantastic way to end our trip!
