Checked in, opened the door to the room and after a very brief inspection, I turned around and checked out immediately. The rooms were absolutely gross. I don't know Thunder Bay that well, but the hotel itself seemed to be in a sketchy area. We stayed at the Best Western instead. Service at the front desk was awesome and she was very understanding.

Tacky spot. It smelled horrible and looked horrible. Lobby was dirty and unwelcoming. Hallways are dark and the carpet is beyond frayed. The bathroom was also sketchy. Will never stay here again. Definitely not worth the cost.

I can't say enough about the Travelodge Thunder Bay Ontario to the cleanliness of the rooms, to the uplifting and upbeat attitudes of all its employees I had a chance to interact with a lot of the front desk staff. And I have to say that they go above and beyond the Call of Duty with their jobs they're very accommodating very understanding and very very kind and courteous. I've had the opportunity to stay in a lot of hotels in Canada as well as a broad and I can honestly say that they are the best staff that I've ever came across at any hotel that I've ever stayed at so if you're ever in Thunder Bay and you need a hotel to stay in try to Travelodge on Memorial Street

No extra roll of toilet paper. Someone's child wrote on the wall with crayon and still there. Grease on the wall of the bathroom. Spider webs in room. Spider on the ceiling Bed ok. Big enough parking for tractor trailer.

For a basic hotel, and prices available, it was good. Instead of just a double sided bed, and only a bucket for ice, would've loved to see maybe a queen and a mini fridge, but otherwise, not much to complain for. Bed was neat, tv was with lots of channels, (yet no channel guide found on any channel or button), and free Wi-Fi, so I'd stay there again, and I'm picky with places.
