Although quaint and quiet in the middle of town, not worth the money. No a/c, very dim lighting, no tv, smallest shower ever. When booking, read the fine print. In addition to room rate and taxes, there is an occupancy charge and a 3% surcharge for using your credit card. Sitting on the porch in the rain was the best part.

Quite a lovely, historic, and cozy place. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed sitting on the porch rocking chairs looking out over the park and the water. We also had a nightcap at the well-stocked bar. Also, be sure to stop by The Guzzle right across the street for breakfast, snacks, and ice cream!

Fantastic old building, in a great location. We happened to visit on some extremely hot days and the lack of air conditioning made it unpleasant in the guest rooms. The full length balconies and decks were very nice.

Absolutely divine. A bunch of friends visiting from Toronto, went in, sat on the porch and indulge dinner: Oysters: fresh and tasty Clams appetisers: zesty, tasty, perfectly cooked Russian Eggs: inventive, with the best pickled cucumbers Smoked Walleye was unique. Homemade spaghetti with your choice of garnish: perfect. Wine pairing: judicious. Only reservation I had is where they seem to store their wines: red wine was served way too warm, like 75°F Pistachio cake was quirky, and tasty. Avoid the baked Alaska, a major miss. Other than that, this place totally rules ! Service is great and you will meet some locals there.

No air conditioning and shower was somewhat small. But other than that, it has a park near by and a wonderful river view! Great hotel!
