This place had great reviews so we decided to check it out to rent their paddle boards, as we were on the last day of our stay; thinking if it was good we would come back the next year. When I called the lady who answered was very pleasent. When we arrived we were greeted by a very unpleasant man. It seemed we were putting him out by being there, even though I called ahead of time. I asked to use a washroom to change into my bathing suit and he said they didn't have one! My daughter also wanted to use the washroom before we headed out on the paddle boards for an hour; so make sure to use a washroom before you go there as they don't have one...?? I was surprised because I thought it was also a bed and breakfast; so I changed in our vehicle and we headed out anyway. The rentals were a very reasonable price ($10 per hour) although mine was very old & dirty..... BUT the river was beautiful. I would still recommend paddling the river if you get a chance, plus its right across the street from the falls.

We had an amazing time here and enjoyed every part of our stay. The breakfast was amazing!!.... UPDATE: we went again this year and it was another amazing experience. Doug and Tracey are so thoughtful and shared information with us that made our stay even better. Highly recommend visiting :)...p.s. Breakfast was just as good as we remembered :)

Great experience! Tracey and Douglas are so welcoming. Not far away of the beach and the falls are other side of the street. Great breakfast! Lovely place!
