Routine roadside motel being enhanced under brand new ownership. Great location for visiting Algonquin. Fresh water swimming on the lake five minutes walk, right out of the gate and right at the junction down to the beach. Fan. TV. BBQS. Play area. Badminton/volleyball on lawns. Clearing in the high trees next to the bend in the road and a brook that rushes down into the lake.

The worse experience ever. Ladies and gentlemen please don't waste your money and time. I booked a room and at the time of booking the owners wife (tripta) didnt mention anything. Once i reached and went to check in. She said ohhh there is no AC. SHE IS LIER. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

This motel is situated on the edge of Algonquin National Park near a bakery and a small grocery store. The rooms are clean and comfortable and you can hear the river. The barbecue facilities are clean and well maintained. There is a campfire every evening which adds to the charm and ball games are available.

Great place to stay for those coming to Algonquin. They have 12 rooms of different configurations - 2/3/4/6 bedded. We have the whole place booked for group of 45 people, and the experience was great. Huge lawn with bonfire. 3 barbeque setup areas. They even provide outdoor blankets on chilly nights. The owners are swiss, and the wife seems to be the one controlling the place. The husband is just chilling out. Though shrewd, they make for a great conversation, especially on how high health care costs in Switzerland forced them to move to Canada. Rooms are reasonable, and kept clean and tidy.
