I can't speak about the rooms, only the restaurant. While the food was just okay, for $16 + tax I did expect it to be a bit better. I got a handful of fries and a piece of fish. I did receive tartar sauce, but was surprised to find out that they had taken the coleslaw out of the dish some time ago (according to the waitress). The fish itself was a good size, but it was tough along one side (it almost seemed like it was an issue of supplier, rather than restaurant) and the batter was sort of tough and a bit chewy too. The waitress herself was very polite and friendly. That was the only good thing about my meal, the service. The price for the quality food I received, that is what I am not satisfied with. If the food had of been cheaper, fine, I would have nothing to complain about. However, the price and the quality of food just don't line up. Not for what else you can get in the area... With better prices AND better quality... I would not come back here again, but I would return to The Alibi in Iroquois for a nice fish and chip dinner! Reasonably priced at $13 for one piece and $17 for two. The batter is PERFECT. The fish is still a good size. You get more fries (but not so many that you are stuffed or throwing them out). Tartar sauce, of course. AND coleslaw! Also, I never leave hungry. The waitresses are always friendly and I find they even sometimes go above and beyond.

This review is about the restaurant. The service was good but the waitress was roo chatty. She interrupted our conversation to comment on local news - it was not appreciated. Food way too pricy for what is served. I ordered from the lunch menu (which is cheaper) and I was charged from the dinner menu. We were there for lunch at 11h45. When asked why, we could not get an explanation. But of course, the manager was too busy to provide an answer. Will definitely not return. $$$$

Great place to stay.. very clean and comfortable.. lots of parking to get a truck into.. very reasonably priced rooms, food was great although a little over priced.

This is a very basic hotel, nothing fancy. It is the only one in the area. We only needed a place to sleep and rest so it suits us just fine. Breakfast is not included but you can buy breakfast at Tim Hortons or McDonald's just down the road.

A lot better than a 2 star hotel in my opinion, buffet was pretty decent, and it's a pretty nice place, I went about 3-4 years ago.
