Second week here for work. I was in the "Round House" the first week, and am now in one of the rooms in the main building. So far my only complait is the walls are paper thin. If the person in the next room has the TV too loud you can hear it. Beds are comfortable. There are plenty of stores, fast food, and restaurants near by. You can park right outside your room. The owner is friendly and very accommodating. All rooms are smoke free, however some of the rooms that were smoking rooms at one time still have that lingering smell (sorry, former smoker my nose picks it right up). The hotel is pet friendly ( at the time of this post it is a $30 charge).

Very friendly owners, I was in a room in the round house, very cozy & warm. I believe it's one of their bigger rooms. Microwave and large fridge, TV with good cable. A/c for summertime. Pet friendly. Nice quiet place, my bf is working out that way and stays here. I'm excited to come back and visit in the warmer weather. Very close to all things you need up here. Locals are fun and friendly. Would recommend staying here to anyone.

I have been staying here for sum time, due to work and the rooms are clean the grounds kept. They have been very accommodating and are great hosts. All around good place to stay for work or pleasure. Wouldn't think twice about stopping here again. Thanks

Do not stay here. Stayed in November. At the time felt it was worth staying again. Booked another stay in January but had to cancel. Have confirmation email on cancellation. What we just realized is put cc was hacked right after stay in November and somehow for this cancellation, they are still charging us a no show.......trying to imply that we had two separate reservations!?!. Wonky things happening to credit cards after staying. Pay cash if you think you’ll stay. I will be back a great deal to this area as my child is a student IN University....i’ll Sleep in car before risking staying there.

Went to Potsdam to attend my nephews participation in Godspell at Clarkson University. Stayed here and was not disappointed. Very clean, bed comfortable, quiet and affordable. Easy walking to Walmart. Lots of wildlife in the area as evidenced by tracks. Breakfast - not so great. Store bought danishes, muffins, did have fresh fruit though - coffee - yuck. Warm and old. But that is minor as you can get breakfast anywhere.
