Anne was an absolute horror to deal with. Even her reply to my review was awful. Extremely judgmental which is not a pleasant experience when looking for a nice relaxing place to stay. Also, this is not a hotel. It is part of her home. No Anne, I do not have the wrong hotel. Do you think I made up your name? You tried to charge my DEBIT card over 10 times for the room and then stated in your reply that you don't want people "like me" renting from you. You have since changed your reply to me, likely because you want to save face and do not want people to know that you are very not a gracious host. Your reply does state you waited a month. Incorrect. you waited a day, and kept trying to charge my debit card. NOT my credit card. Simple mistake could have been avoided if you had asked if it was credit or debit.

Wonderful place to stay. I prefer it to a typical hotel. There are a couple things that are good to know though. No fault of the owners but there's a train crossing near the location that sounds it's horn several times a day. Also it's on demand water heating. I understand it makes sense for the owners but it means having to wait several minutes whenever you want anything but cold water to use. Not a big deal, just an inconvenience. Overall cozy and good value!
