I stayed here in early May and I had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff member who checked us in was so awesome and sweet! I wish I knew her name, she was excellent. It was May 3rd between 2-4pm that we arrived. The room was perfect. We had two queen sized beds in ours, a mini fridge, couch and TV. Thanks Travelodge! Breakfast at Yesterday’s was also super!

Stayed just for 1 night..The front desk staff was great! Wonderful service. I did not like seeing the big sweaty guy coming in from the street head straight to the pool and jump in with his clothes on. The beds were comfy, the rooms were ok...I pulled back one of the covers and there was a long blond hair and a shorter brown one on the bed. There was also hair in the bathroom. Front desk is great, the cleaning people do need to be looked at though, they are skipping on important things.

I didn't feel safe. There were people in the parking lot at all hours of the night digging for cigarette butts and asking for change. There were people in the room above me and from the time I walked in to the time I checked out you could hear every step they took. The bed was very comfortable, but glad I brought my ear plugs. My dog didn't get much sleep as she was bothered by all the noise from upstairs and the slam of the outside door. I went out to check my car around 11 pm and was locked out of my room (key card deactivated) so I had to walk around the outside of the hotel in the dark to get back to the front desk (I didn't know the pool door doesn't lock at night). The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had there been another pet friendly room I would have just switched rooms (for the noise).

Like much of Kenora, this hotel was probably pretty nice about twenty years ago. The place smelled smokey and the surrounding area was frequented by ne'er-do-wells . Overall Kenora evokes a feeling similar to the show "Ozark". I wouldn't come back unless I had to.

DON'T STAY HERE... Rented a room for 7 nights then after requesting to have the same room for another 5 nights the lady at the front desk said it was all good but the rate was increasing 30$ . The next day they call us asking why are stuff is still in the room and that we have to take are stuff out and move to anther motel(Tavelers Inn) across the street at a rate of 190$ per night. So we move to the travelers Inn. After the 3rd night staying at the new motel we come back in the evening and the cleaning people did not tend to the room. No clean towels, no garbage thrown out and no beds made. For 190$ a night I think they can do that at least. Now we cancelled with travellodge and heading to comfort Inn...
