The Westview Motel saved the day when we were stuck on the island and needed a place to stay. It was VERY clean, safe and the owners were just delightful We WILL stay again Thank you Stacy

I really liked our little unit. 5 star people need not apply. If you like clean and comfy this is for you. Great service too!

Dirty dirty dirty! The first thing I noticed was the foul smell. Black mould all over walls and shower. The tv did not work. The towels are odourous and crusty. Yes the room looks and feels like everything was furnished from a dumpster but that's fine. The absolute worst experience was climbing into bed and discovering that the bed was DIRTY! There was sand in the bed and I can assure you it did not come from me not my belongings! The sheets were not changed!

While this may not be a motel that lives up to a 5 star standard, it is among the cheapest places to stay on the island. We stayed in unit 6 and I would recommend it to anyone who asked. It may not be the most beautiful place in the world but there is a bed and an air conditioner in every room, and the rooms are clean. Unit 6 has a full kitchen, an extra bed and a good sized couch. It's right off the ferry, next to the LCBO and close to the winery. There's no Rogers/Fido service anywhere on the island besides the north shore as there isn't a tower on the island, bell has great coverage. There isn't WiFi available here so just a heads up if you're on Rogers or Fido. Despite any faults that can be found with it compared to a B&B, for the price and if you have anymore than 2 people, it is a great place to sleep and to get out of the heat of the island.

You definitely don't receive what you should for $80 a night. Broken bed, unclean (grit all over the floors and dirt logged into the sides & corners of the walls & shower), doesn't come with any bathroom accessories (hair dryer, shampoo, etc.) and no wifi (there's no cell signal while in the motel). As well, the air conditioner hardly blew out any air, and because the water lines are so superficial below the ground it heats up via the sun so the "cold" water is actually hot. The only beneficial thing that I can think of is that the staff seemed friendly. But I would not recommend this place-- junky atmosphere.
