Nice hotel! Staff was super friendly and rooms were clean. The rooms are a little dated but the hotel has done a good job making them look nice. Bathrooms are a quite compact, larger sized individuals may have a tough time using them. Location is super convenient, being right next to event center. Would stay here again!

I went to a woman's event called Girl Hold My Hand and Crowne plaza took care of me. The rooms were great and clean. Check in went by smoothly. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. If I'm ever in Detroit again i would stay here again. One Love!

For the price we paid, our hotel room was extremely unsatisfactory. We had a very late flight so checked in around 2:30am. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned at all. There were crumbs on the floor, a glass under the bed, and mold in the tub. If this was a Motel 6 and we were paying $50 a night, then I would expect this level of cleanliness. However, our room was closer to $200 a night which makes this unacceptable. Everyone we came in contact with was extremely pleasant and professional. We didn’t even try to change rooms because it was so late and just wanted to get to bed, but if we were staying longer than one night then we would have requested a different room. We won’t be staying here again when we return to Detroit.

The rooms are nice if you can get one. I arrived at 2pm expecting to check in drop off my luggage and go out into the city. Check in is not until 3pm and that is FIRM. I will admit my own fault as this is posted and I now know. After waiting in line for 45 minutes, I arrived at the desk to check in and was informed there were no rooms available. I then showed the woman working at the desk my reservation that I had made on travelocity. She then told me a room would be available eventually but I would have to wait. I had already waited 45 minutes to check in and was not willing to wait longer for a room that I had made a reservation for. The woman went to talk to her manager and then came back and offered me a room with 2 full beds. I asked if I could check in to the room I had reserved 1 king bed and then when I came back later that evening I could go to my room when it became available. She then went back to speak to her manager and informed me that was not possible. Once in my room I discovered my toilet did not work and was plugged. I called the front desk 3 times in a half hour span explaining to them that my girlfriend needed to use the bathroom and it was urgent. Finally maintenance arrived and fixed the toilet. The maintenance man was grateful no one had used to bathroom and thanked me for waiting. I explained to him I had called the front desk 3 times and that we were doing our best to not make his job any more difficult. If only the hotel staff could of been half as courteous as the maintenance man. The location of this place however is awesome and has easy access to the people movers and you can easily navigate throughout the city.

Latricia was extremely nice and helpful in the dining area. Staff was pleasant and great location to everything. Rooms could have been a little bigger but overall, no complaints at all. Would definitely stay here again!
