Room looked messed up when we got there. Lamps looked like someone had dropped them then set them back up, air conditioning plate pushed back. And on top of that, they have bed bugs. I woke up with red dots on me. And I know it is bedbugs I'm allergic to their bites.

Pretty decent and prices are reasonable. Wi-Fi was good and though i didn't eat, they offer simple breakfast items. Cereal, coffee and i think yogurt.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I was genuinely surprised at how bad this was. The first room I was given was dirty. The chair had nasty looking stains on it (see picture), the floor hadn't been vacuumed, the TV remote was missing, and the whole place was just in a state of ill repair. There was a badly patched human sized hole in the wall (see picture) , and a weird stain (burned spot?) on the carpet. My room smelled faintly of tobacco smoke, even though it was supposed to be nonsmoking. Worse, the hallway smelled STRONGLY of smoke, tobacco and... otherwise. I went to the front desk and described some of these things, and was given a new room across the hall. This room had a stained/dirty chair and love seat, and dust and stains on the tables. The smell was the same: tobacco smoke. About three in the morning, I woke up very cold. I tried to turn on the heater, but couldn't seem to get it to show signs of life. It was full of bits and crumbs (picture). Cold air seemed to be coming in through it from outside. The next morning, the shower was nearly impossible to get to the right temperature: it had been jury rigged (picture) and seemed to want to give high volumes of very hot or very cold water, and no water of the right temperature at all. Also, there was no soap or shampoo. At this point I didn't bother going back to the front desk. In fairness, the people at the front desk were very nice, and were trying to be helpful. I'm afraid that just doesn't make up for the terrible dirtiness and seediness of this hotel.

Good luck on getting breakfast they only put out small cups of waffle dough only put maybe 8 cups out .the bagels are old ,no eggs. I went down there at 7 am they did not have any out front or in back. Went down another day at 8 am none .first room bed was old and looked like a elephant sat in the middle .had to scrub the bathtub myself it was black. Asked housekeeper to sweep she handed me the vaccume. Three days later I was told I had to move because my bathtub was leaking into a room downstairs .went and saw it myself ceiling was like a rain shower just pouring thru .found a new room for me .much better locks and doors still bit safe in either .I put a chair under the door handle to prevent any one coming in.The maintenance man is too quality as for service for patrons .he replaced my air conditioner other one was not working .and brought me a chair that was supposed to be in the room .helped me move my things also. above and beyond .there was blood on my sheet I had to wait all day to get my sheets replaced. Had to scrub yet another bathroom and tub it was black had never been cleaned .Couple of really shady Arabic guys bringing young girls and trading them off to a black man on the backside of the building .wonder if that is human trafficking .other than that no bugs ,and quiet not as noisy as the holiday inn. Can actually get a good nights rest.Certainly way to high a price for the non quality .towels are old and dirty .bathrooms disgusting .

For the price it was an awesome stay almost all the staff was more than friendly and ready to help at any time. There was only once I ordered towels and after the receptionist told me to wait half an hour to an hour nothing showed up but that is a minor problem because the rooms were super clean unlike other motels and Inns I have been to. The location is great given that many restaurants and other useful places are close by as well downtown Detroit is about 20 minutes by car.
