If I could rate staff individually they would have 11/5 the staff are amazing. But sadly these two stars are just for the room and the services. The room was spacious but I don't appreciate spending money on a room that has cloth moths living in the carpet. More so when my business is with wool and I now have to freeze all my clothes that I took with me just in case they have moth eggs on them. It's a good thing I didn't bring any of my one of a kind handmade woollen items. Your moths would of had a lovely time on them. We didn't include breakfast with our room and I'm glad we didn't. £16 for a cooked English breakfast £14 for a continental breakfast. Wow the little cafe down the road does a better breakfast for under £5. Honestly don't waste your money on the breakfast. No bottle of water in the room. The hairdryer was dirty and didn't work. I didn't check the bedding. I went for Ignorance was bliss on that one. The walls need re doing. There was a old phone socket point in the wall in the bathroom. Have no idea what that was about. It's so clearly obvious that the money you spend on this hotel is based solely on its location in London. But you would also think the a huge company like hoilday Inn would be able in inject some cash in to the upkeep of the building. But I will repeat the staff are amazing the most helpful people. And always have a smile.

It's fine, but to be honest, even the most grungy hotels in the world give you a bottle of water in your room. Your only options are the bathroom sink, a cash only vending machine from the 90's (who uses cash?) or an untended bar with no service. No stores in the area are open late so if you're parched, for example, if you wake up in the middle of the night, go suck it from the bathroom sink. Given the taste of the water, I had to opt for dehydration. I'm honestly surprised, I've stayed in roach motels with this basic amenity. If it weren't for that fairly important detail that ruined my sleep, I would give it 4 stars. Staff is great, housekeeping is attentive and respectful, and no complaints about my room itself.

The room was nice. We had 2 single beds. The breakfast was good. Had warm food, typical English breakfast buffet.. The hallway smelled very old, smelled like old cigarettes, but the hotel was overall good. Very close to the metro and Oxford Street if you like to shop.

Rooms - small, dated decor, no nice features, bathroom was small and unpleasant to be in. Tv small. No view. Air on was this hideous box on a wall that’s so old it’s yellow and is very loud. The door handles are tough and cheap Restaurant- this is very poor. Had the lamb and chicken. It was just a plate of fat. The chicken was roadkill. Wasted £30. It’s in the basement so no natural light or view. Location - great. This is what your paying for. Making everything else way over priced I would avoid unless you care only about being central wanting a place to sleep only (albeit uncomfortably)

Been here on a business trip in January 2018. Overall I liked it, but some of my colleagues dud not. My room was spacious and the bed was great, but other's rooms where strange - very narrow entrance, kitchen smell, tight space overall - all while they were supposed to be the same rooms. Nevertheless, it was a nice stay for me with a prime location.
