Nice and quiet in woods. Work related but would of wandered round happily if time permitted.

This motel used to be stables and still stands in the classic shape with an open courtyard to park your car. Rooms are standard motel. They make the effort to accommodate your needs but rooms are basic. I was moved from a single by a room next to the washer/dryer room, to a double as there was no wifi availability at the far end of the Motel. It is also situtated in a bit of a mobile black spot (I'm with Tesco mobile) as it's in the Epping Forest. Overall ok for hollibobs if you're going to spend most of your time in the forest but probably better to book into the Bell if you want more of your business trip.

I am nit one to post negative comments but on this occasion I must, Would not recommend this place at all , the room was meant to recently renovated ? well they need to look at design , Bathroom had toilet, small vanity sized sink and shower and a small bin ...that was it no mirror no shelf , the room grey and white , didn't look inviting to me but guess that was personal opinion. The bathroom bin had not been emptied so had previous guests rubbish in . The bedding looked unchanged and smelt smoke along with the whole room , I did complain bin was emptied but was told bedding was clean .I found crumbs , hair and other bits in the bed .Unfortunately the reception shuts at 8 so no where to complain after this. Various bodily things on wall in bathroom and something on the wall above the bed. I am an ashmatic so the smoke smell in the room really troubled me had to walk outside several times in the night to breath fresh air. I slept clothed on the bed with my clothes covering a pillow but had very little sleep. Luckily I carry wipes with me as I couldn't face having a shower just needed to get out of the place . Disgusting

This place is ok if only looking for a bed. It is not kid friendly or good if you are working. No reception on mobile phone signal and only place you can actually get on their Wi-Fi is by standing outside your room. Will not be using again as paid 140 for 2 nights and in my view not worth that much
