Cheap. You get 1 shared bathroom for 3 rooms. God forbid if someone used it for #2 - stench is felt in all rooms. Squeaky old wooden floor, can hear all neighbors coming in and out of the rooms and around the house. Breakfast is self-served: some staples from Metro and Costco, gelatin yogurt and fruits, no hot food, but there's coffee, tea and full kitchen with probably 50-years old appliances and cutlery. On the bright side: bed linen was clean and mattress was comfortable. Bottom line: you get exactly what you paid for. If you're on tight budget - stay. Otherwise look elsewhere.

It was a very bad experience for me when i booked a night at this place for my wife and 21 months old baby. I called the vendor couple of times after booking for more clarity and to see if i could add one more night since it was a busy night for hotel business in Ottawa, and to prevent my family from being stranded since we were going through emergency situation. On the last call he told me to GET LOST that he was trying to get some sleep and he HUNG UP. I checked his web page to see if it says anywhere that your are only allowed to call once or at a certain time of the day but there was none. He did not stop there, he went ahead and cancelled my reservation without my consent, which we came to find out when wife called to find out if it was ok for them to check in. And as a result i had to incur extra expense to change their flight back to BC that same day instead of the following day.

Very comfortable, and the owner is extremely accommodating. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay in Ottawa. Be aware, this is a three unit B&B with shared restroom facilities. It wasn't a deal breaker for us, but for some it might be.

Lovely place to stay. Room is very clean and comfortable. There is a large lounge accesible to all the rooms. Bathroom is communal. Would stay again.
