Just spent two nights at the South Landing Inn! Super clean and VERY comfortable beds. Located right between Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls you can do both easily. No fridge but next time will bring a cooler. Thanks to the staff for a great time. Now all it needs is a breakfast room ; )

It is very much a no frills place, which is perfectly fine. It's situated about a ten minute drive north of the Falls, in a quiet, residential area. It is an older building and therefore you do hear more going on outside and around you. We did not have anybody above us so I can't comment on how well you will or will not hear the people above you. The decor in both the office and room is fairly dated, but the building and room itself was clean and well kept and everything worked fine. Check in and check out were both a breeze, and the man at the counter at both times was friendly. As I said it's a bit out of the way, so you'd need to drive to places for whatever you'd need, including food. They offered a breakfast from 8am to 10am, but as we didn't have breakfast there, I can't comment on the quality of the food. All in all it was a good stay, and well worth it if you want to be close to downtown but far enough away that you still feel like you're somewhat secluded.

Overall good quality. Bed was comfy and room was good temperature. There were quite a few bugs in the room, but that is not easy to manage for an old building.
