This is a lovely building in a excellent location. The view is charming. The decor eclectic. The food is wonderful. The owner & staff are absolutely fabulous. They are kind work hard & do everything within their power to make our stay great. They welcome us with open arms and we felt the warmth immediately. It is very nice to see ladies so happy at their work. The entire experience was priceless looking forward to another visit.

Clonmel Castle was just what we needed. It was a spontaneous decision to check this place out and we were not disappointed. We were made to feel very welcome and the service was above and beyond what we expected, very accommodating. If you are looking for a no hassle experience where you can just come and chill, I would recommend this place in a minute and we will definitely be going back!

My wife and I stayed in the "glamping cottage". It was nicely decorated and cozy, with lamps, fridge, kettle, bottle of drinking water. There is only 1 shared washroom in the castle, but there is also a portapotty beside the cottage. There was snacks and beverages in the Casablanca room for guests at anytime. Lynee made a fantastic eggs benedict breakfast and muffins. I slept pretty good in the cottage, except for a mosquito buzzing and the compressor on the fridge sad loud and would turn on every so often

Not impressed with their client service or reliability. We had booked a tour with the operator to view the location for an upcoming corporate retreat. She confirmed through email and offered lunch during the visit. I travelled over an hour to visit the establishment for the appointment. When I arrived, there was a staff member smoking a cigarette at the front entrance, staff were confused and did not know anything about the tour, and told me that the operator wasn't available to do the tour. I had to ask for the tour since I travelled a distance to get there. It was a brief 15 minute walk through but I wasn't able to receive much information except the price $180 with meals. The staff member called the operator while I was there. The operator just said sorry and that she's 'very sad' about this. I was promised that the operator would follow up with information. I didn't receive a follow up call or email or even a direct apology from the operator for the mix up and wasting my time. I came prepared with cheque book in hand, prepared to discuss our event needs and book the whole facility for 4 future events. Reading some of the reviews, it seems that 'mix-ups' are the norm here. The whole situation and dealings were handled very unprofessionally.

Lovely hosts. Very welcoming. Very charming and relaxing home and grounds. Hospitable towards children and even changed breakfast menu to suit them. Would return again and refer friends.
