A group of 11 of us decided to to have afternoon tea here.....a change from our usual Tim Horton's.What a wonderful decision! We were transported to another time in this beautiful old home and it's surroundings. Our fancy sandwiches, sweets, scones with clotted cream and preserves were so delicious and our lovely host was quick to constantly replenish....this is how you relax and enjoy yourself!!!!

I'd like to say I'm a regular at the Summerhill tea room, and I'm never disappointed! The owners are very lovely people and their food is absolutely delicious. Whether it's their traditional afternoon tea or their feature of the day, the food is always fresh and full of flavour.

Had New Year dinner with neighbours. Food was excellent. Prime rib of roast beef was amazing. Chicken was outstanding. Sticky toffee was the bomb.

We had a lovely stay at the Summerhill Manor B&B over the St. Paddys Weekend. What I like about Summerhill is the nice human interactive experience that is lacking in a typical big chain hotel where you are just one of hundreds of customers who are staying at a small room. Moment we arrived, we were greeted by Chef Ron and Corrinne, the owners at Summerhill. The living room is lovely and clean. This is a 1800s building with a Victorian theme to it. Corrinne guided us to our room and we stayed at the Dr. Powers Suite, which is the biggest room of the 3 guest rooms. Love the tall windows throughout all sides of the room, allowing natural sunlight to beam through the windows. There is 1 comfy queen size bed and a 2nd bed on the other end of the wall which could fit an adult or a kid comfortably. The bathroom is inside the room and hot water flowing strongly out of the facet, which is what I need. Luv that! Crabtree & Evelyn care products for guests to use, which is a nice touch. Chef Ron makes great food. Each guest gets a complimentary breakfast during their stay, so I highly recommend you to wake up early, grab breakfast and then claw back to your room for an hour nap and then check out. Overall, I enjoy the excellent service and the experience at Summerhill Manor. In fact, this was my 1st time staying at a B&B as I usually stay at a hotel or Air BnB, but Summerhill definitely gave me that confidence to try other BnB in the near future. Parking is free during weekends, everything is so close on foot, we didnt have to drive. Next time, I would like to check out Chef Ron afternoon tea experience.
