Loved the only Hostel. The place is really well kept. The atmosphere is great and tbe staff are friendly and more importantly really cool. It felt like hanging out rather than stying in a hotel. The breakfasts were amazing too. Get down early though, sometimes there's muffins and pastries but they go fast. I think I ate the most I have my entire trip there, and iv been traveling for two months . The bar and cafe attached means you don't have to look for a good place to spend the day because your already in one. Seriously next time I visit Toronto I might just spend my time there relaxing and recuperating now iv seen the sights. Greek town is cool as well. Loads of coffee shops and life in the place. The underground/bus station is right behind the hostel to get to town and there's good jazz, rock.and hip-hop bars/clubs near by. There are some good beaches there too and during the sumer they have music and a real party atmosphere. Go here, love here.

Been here for two days. Will be here for another two. If you are vacationing to Toronto The Only hostel worth mentioning Is The Only Backpackers Inn. Friendly staff, great price, nice atmosphere, great little bar and cafe below, simple but nice complimentary breakfast, and overall the guests are nice and clean. Will be staying again for sure. My only advice is to buy bottled water as the tap water isn't the best for drinking. Still every bit worthy of 5 stars.

Staff here spent lots of effort to make this place decent, but the qualities of many backpackers were not good. Take this into consideration. They didn't respect others even there's a sign saying "keep quiet after 11pm"; they still yelled or talked loudly in the corridor, and yes they're chatting in English, so no excuses for coming from non-English speaking countries. And a guy in my room kicked my shoes to be under the bunker bed and I had to fish them out. Twice! These self-oriented young people really suck! Oh by the way the breakfast service starts at 8am, which is too late considering many people have things to attend to very early in the morning, and I haven't used this sevice.

They delete or ask people to delete the negative comments written about them, the high ratings are a total fraud! Too many long-term stayers in the hostels for lower price, of course they have to rate them high. Bathrooms were not clean, bed sheets had a lot of hair...meaning they weren,t washing them properly, or never washed them at all....Too much noise was coming from their bars, there was nothing in the hostel to enjoy with....Booze /(alcoholic beverages) are not allowed in the whole hostel, and they threaten the customers to kick them out if they don't attempt to drink even a can of beer...Ironically, they have a bar, belongs to them, just under the hostel, belongs to them, too, that sells the booze and alcoholic drinks for too much money!!! See? They want people to drink beer from / in their bar for too much money, not from outside for too low price...We are travellers afterall, we don't have that much money, this is why we are staying in a 1* hostel not in a 5* hotel.....They are gold-diggers!

This place is phenomenal. First time at a hostel and way more than I expected. They have everything you need and more. Lovely environment. Will definitely stay again when travelling through.
