Doesn't claim to be The Ritz and it isn't but it is a very serviceable motel, conveniently located just off the 20. The bed was in great shape and while we were on the second floor, there are a number of key controlled access points so you can have reasonable access to your vehicle. I would echo what others have said about the staff. They were very helpful and warm. They seemed to take pride in what they were doing. The breakfast area was busy but well maintained with a good number of toasters, a waffle station and a selection of cold cereals. Peeled hard boiled eggs were readily available with hot eggs available on request. There was also a selection of fresh fruit (apples, bananas) that could easily be taken on the road for a mid morning snack. There is a St Hubert just across the street or with a short drive, you can access any number of very good restaurants downtown. We didn't do that this trip but have in the past.

Not bad at all. Very clean rooms. Hot breakfast with sausage and waffles. VERY comfortable beds. Good value for money. Will be our regular stop from now on.

Room was clean, service was good. The hotel in general was pretty clean even thought it's small. Overall, my experience was really good!

Great location with clean, spacious rooms. Check in was easy at 11pm. The only downside was the blinds did not block the light at all...we were awoken at 5:30pm with sunlight streaming through the cracks.

We chose the Comfort Inn Rivière-du-Loup because it was pet friendly. We were disappointed however that instead of having a room on the main floor with access directly outsode, we were given a room on the second floor. We were also disappointed with the quality and quantity of the continental breakfast. The dining room was small and over crowded, and when anyone would use the toaster the smoke detector would go off. The price is the only reason I would consider staying at this hotel again.
