I booked a room months in advance. We checked in only to be told that our room had been given to another guest on account of our late check-in. We pulled in at 10 pm. We agreed to take their last remaining room for 14$ more (bigger room) which was a disaster. It smelled like cat urine and industrial strength carpet cleaner. It was overpowering! We went back to the front desk requesting another room. The only available room at that point was another motel close by. Not what I thought i was paying for. Definitely felt like a scam to me! Service was ok but rooms are way overpriced.

View was amazing. Room amazing. Had a pool and hot tub too. Beach right in front.

Motel Vue Belvedere is located in the quaint town of Saint Simeon along the St. Lawrence river. The rooms have a great view of the water and the sunrise. It is only a minute off the main road so it's very easy to get to. Right below is a ferry stop to take you across the river. It is very close walking distance to a convenience store carrying both fresh and packaged foods, household items, and alcohol. There are also a couple restaurants within a very short walk that are also good. The staff is very friendly. My room was clean and decently appointed with a couch, table, and two beds. The only negative is that the Wi-Fi is a bit sporadic. Would definitely stay again if I return to the area again.

Great motel, if you get the river view you'll fall in love with it. Comfy beds and a great location close to the beach.

Not sure what more you would want in a motel. Our room was in the original building, had two queen beds, a balcony and a great view of the sea. Kids had fun spotting whales and watching the action of the ferry terminal. A good choice for catching the first ferry of the day since you can drive down in the morning, get in line and then walk back up to the room. I think we paid the full summer rate but in the offseason this would be a great deal.
