Kinda nice, but the lack of air conditioning and the relatively low comfort that the beds provide make it a bit more meh. For the price though, you get what you pay for.

Facility lacks air conditioning then add common bathroom and shower places it a tad above squalor.

Despite the accommodations being small. The beds are surprisingly comfortable. And is great for booking for events in waterloo

The food at Ron Eydt Village was pretty good but the dorms were lacking. The beds were too small and the rooms lacked AC.

It's a pretty simple place to stay, we were here for a university event and it was a cheap alternative to hotels. Beds are like camp beds with a cheap pillow. Shared rooms with a roommate and community washrooms. Waterloo campus is massive and we were always out so we really just needed a place to crash and it did just that.
