Overall the stay was fine. I've stayed here before and will no doubt stay again. They are in the midst of construction and upgrades, so I expect that some things I would rate lower will be resolved when those are done. They offer soup in the early evening (apparently 6:45pm is too late), and they have popcorn on after that. My room was set up backwards compared with most hotels, if you stay in 129 you'll see what I mean. 3 stars because there's room for some good improvements, but don't hesitate to stay there.

We have been on the road for 10 days now and without a doubt this is the best hotel we have experienced. Not only for the price (which we thought was very fair) but also for the amenities and the comfort and the service which was beyond helpful and friendly. The receptionist held the door for us as we came in with our luggage. She was very helpful and friendly and directed us to a great restaurant. There was free popcorn available in the lobby in the evening which included different flavors to sprinkle on your popcorn! They had a small retail area by the check-in desk where you could purchase toiletries, snacks, even microwave dinners! The fitness room and nice deep pool have great hours (no water slide anymore though) open early and open until late which is very accommodating. Our room was nice and very comfortable. Nice large room, very clean...deep bathtub! Super comfy beds. Sounds (from hallway/other rooms) did tend to resonate though. Parking was ample and free, and hot breakfast is included. It is also a pet friendly hotel which does not apply to us on this trip, however I think it is really nice to see people coming in with her well-behaved dogs. Absolutely excellent experience. The people who work here as well as the people who manage this location should be very proud of themselves!!

The check in was great. I would not consider this for another business trip though. While the room was decent, the sounds travel with great ease through the building. I could hear conversations in a room across the hall and three doors down. There seemed to be a party that went quite late. I could also hear considerable noise from the road. It did not make for a good night's sleep. I was also hoping to check out late...and was willing to pay extra to use the room for an extended time. they allowed me to extend from 11 a.m. to noon. I was grateful for that. however, I was told that the room was booked and that I could use the "business centre." this was a small desk with a computer beside the reception desk. Not conducive to working. When I passed by later in the day...the hotel parking lot was virtually empty. It did not appear that they were fully booked. Possibly a nice place for families traveling on a budget. I would not recommend it if you need a good night's rest.
