Stayed for a week in a room "with kitchenette". No dish soap or dish rack. Tiny little microwave and a single ring induction hotplate that burned everything. Was told housekeeping was once a week on Thursdays but on Thursday they just gave us clean towels. When asked if they could change the bedsheets I was told they weren't allowed to. No garbage was taken from the room all week. The heat wasn't enough to warm the room but they did provide a space heater when asked. No fan in the bathroom. But it was cheap. Maybe you get what you pay for. We were talking to some people we met in town and they all agreed we had picked the worst place in town. One of them told me that "something illegal" had happened there recently but couldn't remember what. She went on to reassure me "don't worry, they didn't kill people in their sleep or anything like that". Paid $300 for a week. Most places don't offer weekly rates and those that do are often more expensive.

The location is good, close enough to the main part of the city as long as your driving. It's close to the airport but you're not bothered by any of the planes. The rooms are basic but great for the price. The room we were in had a little kitchen area with plates and stuff that came in handy. We were also allowed to have our two small dogs for now extra charge. Staff was friendly. Free breakfast in the morning was pretty good too. Only small issue was there was a family of foxes that kept coming by our door at night and made me worry about our dogs getting hurt when we had them out. We've stayed there a few times and this was the first time we've had this issue. Over all a good stay.

On the positive side, Sherwood Motel offers a convenient place to go to esp if you're visiting someone at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The rooms are not too expensive & they do have cable tv service. The beds are also made daily. What is not so good is the lack of heat in my unit. Today it is a surprisingly cool in my unit. There is hot water for a patron to have a bath & the water is hot but there is no fridge. Overall I could not recommend my unit. I should say ,though, some units do have heat & some do have fridges. Also, I am not sure if there is place to wash & dry clothes.
