Don't believe the negative hype. This is a perfect place to stay if you want an authentic feeling PEI experience. Expect close quarters, and slow to heat hot water, but what you get in exchange is a truly historic experience. We stayed there for two nights, and it was magical. Excellent decks out back to take in the evenings of the city. Very relaxed rooms and you can take the sounds next door over as a bit of historical boarding room flair. Don't stress.

Quaint little place with 9 suites in a historic building, a setting that was fitting for our visit to historical PEI. Both the owner and the housekeeper were extremely friendly. There's also an outdoor deck for hotel guests to hang out on - perfect for summer nights! We stayed 2 nights and went out onto the deck both nights. Because the building is older, you can hear people walking around and some of the floorboards creaking, but other than that, really cool place to stay. Only a few minutes' walking distance to downtown streets too!

Scarred for life from this place in more ways than one....from large wasp nests near our room....the portable air conditioning unit that required an open window also letting the wasps in, no hot water for a shower, only partial bathroom walls, and parking spots that were either surrounded by wasps or spots that would get you towed. The showers were setup on hardwood floors. I’m surprised this place is available to serve customers. Would not recommend at all. If you do chose to stay there please ensure you bring Raid! The place will definitely give you memories you wish to forget and stories that will carry into the future....why waste your money here when you can go camping for the same experience!

I would not waste your money staying here. Even though I booked four nights they decided it was time for me to leave after three nights entered my room without permission packed up all my stuff clean clothes and dirty clothes together and jammed in all in my suitcase. There was no other person moving in they just don't know how to read a reservation. Whatever you do stay away.

Very nice place. Only negative is the bed is WAY too soft. All amenities are included and service was great!
