Came to this place on a business trip. Free parking for all registered guests in there policy. Is it because I am in a company vehicle that I deserve to pay a premium for parking? If the website says you offer truck parking where does it say it will be extra? Not to mention this was supposed to be a leisure business trip where I could unwind in the pool....... Ohh wait the pool is empty except for the sludge in the bottom. Night staff are fantastic. Day shift seems annoyed and unapproachable. In all I would suggest spending a few extra dollars and stay somewhere else.

Just by walking in the building was musty smell, but our room smelt of a stench I can’t put a finger on. There were ants crawling on the floor of our room, mould on the ceiling, various fruit flies in our room for no apparent reason. There was a random cheerio on our floor indicating it hadn’t been cleaned very well. The window sills are in need of repair since they are breaking and peeling. Outside of the building, there are cement blocks loose everywhere which makes the building look like it’s falling apart. On top of this, there was a substance on the curtains that resembled male fluids. Yuck?

What can be said that has not been said. West Jet airlines should be ashamed for offering this hotel stay for a flight cancellation. A credit to another hotel would have been appreciated. Place was unclean and the images with the exception of the pool area was misleading. It should be stressed that the pool pictures are not flattering. The manager makes no bones about that it's a place with a bed and wifi...what do you expect for free. Stay far far away...sleep in the airport.

First of all... This is an airport hotel and an old one at that. Desperate need of updating. Their system was having issues so it took 30 minutes to check in. I understand these things happen so not really their fault. It was late. I was tired. The room smelled like body odor and they offer boots for your car that you can "rent" for long term parking to prevent your car from being stolen. If I owned the hotel I'd offer these free of charge first come first serve if I knew car theft was an issue. The airport shuttle couldn't accommodate the amount of people that wanted to go to the airport. It seemed as though there was only one shuttle bus. Other airport hotels I've stayed typically had 2. It's cheap and it is what it is and I get that but it's old and smelly. You can even smell the faint smell of cigarettes in the lobby from when smoking inside was still a thing. Didn't that stop almost 20 years ago???? I think some new paint and carpet isn't too much to ask for even for a cheap hotel.

Complimentary airport shuttle with our stay was handy. Staff were friendly at the front desk. The hotel is very dated and needs repair. The parking was complete mayhem. We got one of the last spots. Cars were completely snowed in and it was hard to navigate. Served its purpose for our trip down south.
