I had a great time staying at Gite TerreCiel. The food David cooked was excellent. I really enjoyed the selection of Charlevoix cheeses and meats, as well as the excellent pancakes. Their dog Benoit is also so nice! The room I stayed in was large with lots of thoughtful amenities like a fridge and microwave. David also regularly made up the room which was also appreciated. There is also a substantial selection of board games, beyond what might typically be found in B&Bs.

Lovely little B & B with amazing service. Very clean, the breakfast is made with care and the hosts clearly love to host ! Would definitely come back if ever we’re in the area!

Very quaint and intimate place. The hosts are immensely attentive to your every need. Charming and rustic, this hidden gem is a short walk away from downtown Baie-saint-Paul. Benoit the B&B's dog will also be very helpful; he escorted our vehicle to the parking spot. We had reserved for a cruise of the area and it fell through; short of having minimum necessary passengers. Well the owners booked on the cruise with us and made it possible. If that's not great and awesome service, I don't know what is.

I absolutely recommend staying at Gîte Terreciel! David is the most thoughtful host you could ever meet, he thinks of every detail to make you feel comfortable and at home. The house is charming and beautifully decorated. He also made the best blueberry pancakes I have ever tasted. We will truly miss Benoît, the adorable compagnon à quatre pattes!

I can't say enough about this B&B!! David, the host, is warm and inviting, and the house and property are just lovely!! David and his helpers are bilingual, which is very helpful. The breakfasts are delicious, with local fresh fruit, cheese and sausages (a different assortment of local flavors each of the 2 days we were there), a variety of homemade jams, 2 different homemade breads each day, homemade muffins, and fantastic coffee (I tend to like a little coffee with my cream and sugar, and I probably could have drunk this black, it was so good!) Regular boxed cereals are available, too. In addition to this selection, David and his staff prepare a hot breakfast each day. Our first day, we had individually made waffles, lovingly garnished with local blueberries and a rosette made out of strawberry slices. The second day, we had French toast. That can be tricky to make, but each slice was both crispy and tender -- just perfect!! The rooms are very comfortable, and each has bathrobes, wine glasses, wine opener, and chocolates. There are games available in the common areas, and a lovely yard that backs up to the water. Restaurants, galleries, shops and the beach are all within a short walking distance. And then there is Benoit, the other host -- a sweet, oldish golden retriever. He loves a good tummy rubs!! I highly recommend Gites Terreceil! We are very much looking forward to returning next year!
