Pros - good water heat & pressure - smooth check-in - Fair-sized room, moderately comfortable bed -quiet Cons: - there was a used facecloth hanging on the road in our shower! - we stayed for one night; wifi didn't work all night, so we only had it in the morning Breakfast was continental. There was no protein (cold meat, eggs, etc). There was orange juice, coffee, tea, croissants, bread, cereal, muffins.

What a surprise! The Hotel, that looks like it doesn't actually excist, because it is tucked away between stores! It was super clean, spacious, has a Keurig Coffee Maker, and real Ceramic Coffee Cups! I have been in lots of Hotels, but even some of the higher end ones never had any Ceramic Cups! Thank You, Hotel Charlemagne, for making our stay so special!

The staff there told us we weren't paying enough for the room when my family and I stayed there. They wanted to charge us an extra $40 per night because "we didn't book online correctly". Even after we showed them the verification email that stated the number of people we booked for (2 adults, 1 child), they didn't allow us to pay the original price we had agreed on. Even though we only had to pay about $12 more a night, we still felt that all the time and energy we spent discussing the price of the room with the hotel staff, the hotel manager, and one of the website representatives really ruined a chunk of our vacation. At least the room was clean.

Very nice hotel for the price. Great location - lots of restaurants nearby and Downtown Quebec was not very far.
