Very clean hotel and very friendly staff. I loved my room. The only problem... the hotel was occupied by youth hockey teams for a three day tournament which really made the stay an unpleasant one. The hotel staff and two security officers worked very hard to try to keep the guests under control. Kids will be kids (yes, some parents however.. out of control and no help). I would've given five stars had it not been for the frat house environment. The staff had a very difficult job and there was only so much they could do. I would stay there again but will do some research before booking. I do thank the staff for their efforts.

Post from Spire members. Room is old and dated, smells like mildew and is an assault on the nares. Have to move to another room, but was told no rooms available. Sheets are clean, bathroom is clean but tiny and hardly any room to sit on toilet without feeling squished. Cheese pizza from kitchen is covered in grease and unpalatable. Lobby nice,renovations are finally complete. I'm sure it will be a nice hotel. This is our second time here last time was in September 2018 and renovations were still being done. Now late January 2019. Convenient local, gym is misconceived as it is extremely tiny. Pool is good. Recommend another holiday inn until completely renovated.

Well maintained - but rooms are in need of updating (sounds like that may be happening from previous responses). Staff is professional and food is good. Gym is kinda small... two or more people using cable machine and or free weights is a little awkward but servers the purpose. Plenty of treadmills... etc.

We went to eat breakfast to celebrate someone's birthday. The service was good, the place was clean, but the breakfast menu was ordinary, nothing exciting and the taste was average. The price was right, I would go there again.

Hotel was very clean and well presented. Staff was amazing! Our air conditioning was not working properly in our room and maintenance had come to take a look. When it could not be fixed we were moved to another room right away. Rooms were spacious and clean and a 15 min drive to Old Montreal. Will return to this hotel next time we are in the area!
