Going downhill... this USED to be a flagship hotel for Days Inn but new ownership has killed it. Rooms are dated and tired. Air Conditioning units (if they work) are old and in desperate need of a filter cleaning. Staff.. While friendly.. Look unprofessional and amateur. The Free High Speed Internet is a joke and I cannot begin to tell you how frustrating the televisions were. The restaurant is a joke... limited menu at inflated prices.

This hotel has the rudest manager on earth. I had a wonderful time when I stayed there the first time as I wasn’t bugged by anyone and it was all that I needed. But I have been trying desperately to cancel my booking without being charged (as I am a student that planned on travelling there for a week but something came up and I can no longer go) and they have ignored my emails about the situation and refuse to hear me out. From what I see in the reviews this place tends to scam people and it’s unfortunate that they are trying to scam me as well. I have to cancel my bank card so they can’t charge me as I’m saving up for school and other personal savings. Ridiculous. Will never set foot in this place again, nor will I give them a cent of my money or recommend them to anyone else ever again. Don’t waste your time or your money on this place because they do not care about their costumers.

I am extremely happy with the staff and overall environment. It is situated in the heart of Montreal downtown. The staff was really helpful in their way of extending services well beyond the formal norms. The room was relatively decent equipped with all the basic necessities.

Great location for this hotel. Close to everything, well priced. In house restaurant, great breakfast, very helpful staff. Will return and stay here. Walking distance to everything.

No parking and we're advised to park at a public parking place. Rooms are horrible and so was the room service. Very poor internet connection. Not enough plug points in the room and some of them did not work. The desk was okay and seeming to help but this does not compensate for a hotel stay that is blocks away from other reasonable hotels on Rene Levesque. I don't recommend this hotel unless you absolutely don't have any option. Hotel manager please take note. This was the only bad experience were taking back from our wonderful vacation in Montreal
