This is not a five star or even a four star hotel, amenity wise, but it is a great, very clean older hotel in the heart of Montreal. The rooms were small but comfortable. The bed was great. A continental breakfast is served that consists of bread, pastries and of course, Montreal bagels. There is not an elevator so this hotel is not accessible and there are a lot of stairs. The staff was friendly and we plan to stay there again on our next visit. A great, very budget friendly option where you can easily walk to many of Montreal's downtown attractions.

A two star establishment correctly described as a budget hotel. Not many facilities but everything was clean and well presented within a historic building. Air conditioning struggled to keep the room temperature comfortable but it was 35 degrees outside for 4 days. No elevator but that is made clear in the hotel information. Very handily positioned in the downtown area so close to many restaurants and shops.

Is better than it looks. Old but very clean large rooms. Comfortable beds and nice clean sheets and towels. Breakfast basic. Not always room to sit and eat.

Older historical property that is unique, interesting and dated but well maintained and very clean. Great location right in the heart of Montreal. Loved it.
