This is a very nice hotel close to the action. Very friendly staff who speak mutilple languages. Rooms are cozy. I'd stay again

Clean rooms and washrooms, great value for short visits to Montreal.

I would say Hotel Victor is an amazing value for its location. The room is surprisingly cozy for two people and we found it very clean and tidy. Air conditioning is great and fresh towels are brought daily to your room. The bathroom is modern enough for my tastes and it was also spotless. The staff are very friendly and although they speak poor English if you repeat a concern they will understand. My only concern is the lack of an elevator for those people who cannot carry luggage upstairs. Otherwise with the very fair price you get a nice clean room for two with a private bathroom that is located approximately 3 minutes for the Montreal subway and also in the heart of downtown. I would highly recommend and would come back again.

Very simple and clean place for short stays on low budget. Who needs big luxury high prices rooms when travelling?

Beds and rooms were clean and the staff was friendly, but the stairs to the room were too much. I never slept because the bed was very uncomfortable. Rooms were very small. At $100 including taxes this was a terrible value. It's also in Gay Village, something I did not know before arriving(would never have stayed there had I known). The taxi driver was worried for us. I made a late night trip to a convenience store and was offered drugs. I would say there are better options.
