Beware of this hotel

My husband and I stayed overnight at Derby Four Seasons in November, 2021. This month, July, 2022 they claimed we stayed again (which we would NEVER stay at this place again!) They used the credit card they had on file and charged me $164.00 for a room they claim I was there for. I called them to resolve their “mistake” but they were rude and refused to acknowledge they were wrong. Thankfully my credit card company is great and I won’t have to pay for this fraudulent charge. Beware about this place! You don’t want to stay here anyway. The room was dirty, looked like they hadn’t changed the sheets from the previous occupants. I considered not using the shower as it was also dirty from other people as well. Very disappointing! Do not give them your credit card information!!

I have been needing to write this review for 6 months. Finally, I have the time to do so. We went home (Coventry is "home" but the military retired us in Richmond, VA) for a wedding. With the growth of our family, there wasnt any room for us at their homes. So, we decided to rent a room here. Our intention was to stay here for only 2 days and then move to my cousins houses for the remainder of our visit. However, there is a small apartment suite on the premises, with a full kitchen and the pricing was on point, so instead of dragging my 10 month old grandson all over Orleans County, we stayed. We are so happy we did! This was definately home away from home. All of the employees here were friendly, informative and just downright pleasant. It was hockey season with a hockey tournament close by and the staff made sure that the children were well mannered and quiet, allowing the baby plenty of quiet time. If anyone needs a quaint, quiet, well priced place to call home away from home, like we did, then this is definately the place for you! It sure is for us from this point forward. Thank you Four Seasons Derby, for a meaningful and delightful stay! We will be back.

I love staying here! The rooms are cozy, bed is comfortable, and there are plenty of things to do nearby! I love being able to walk to different places, which is why I enjoy this location. Prices are quite reasonable, and use your AAA card for a discount! The breakfast is basic, but good. There are usually boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, bagels, and mini muffins. Very homey atmosphere.

Front desk girl was amazing and kind, she gets 5 stars. However the room itself was absolute swill.

What a great little gem. What it lacks in amenities it makes up for in cleanliness, condition and comfort. Staff is great and genuinely friendly. Close enough to to what you need as food and supplies go.

Basic accommodations at decent price. Breakfast is included, though it was only fair. Beds are comfortable. The heating system is a bit noisey. The biggest problem is there was no way to block the light from the building next door from coming in the window. They need to put in a room darkening shade of some sort.
