Check-in was easy, and we were welcomed to clean, modern and very nice smelling lobby. Asked shortly after check in if the pool was open but was told it was closed for cleaning, HOWEVER, the girl on the front desk, Sonya, went above and beyond and called the adjacent Sheraton hotel and made sure we could enjoy their pool. Such a small gesture but very well received. Our two year old was very happy with the workaround. Overall great room and very fair rate.

Don't trust the website. Unless you just want a snack, there are no "dining" options here. There are no irons in the rooms, so make sure your suit is pressed before showing up. If you just want a good night's sleep, beware that the walls are thin, so you can hear every door open, and every footstep in the hall. You can also year other guests running and shouting in the middle of the night. At least they have good beer on tap.

I would NOT recommend. We got dropped off from the shuttle from YUL airport to the hotel at 1:30 AM. We walked in and were not even greeted and gave our last name for the reservation and the lady at the front desk asks us if we were sure we made the reservation for the Aloft. She was not rude but had no customer service experience whatsover. And a second after, she found the reservation. That should have been our first sign that something would go wrong. After that she told us that our room was NOT ready (at 1:30 AM in the morning). Check-in is at 3 PM and how is the room not available for 1:30 AM? There was 4 of us and we had booked 2 queens. So we waited in the lobby for 15 mins after a flight at 1:30 AM for which should have been ready at 3PM and after that she gives us the fob telling us “this is supposed to be for another guest but I am giving it to you so if the other person gets here, they won’t have a room”. Why should this be our issue in the first place? We paid for our room back in March and was really disappointed with this whole experience and on top of that she refused a later check out. Do yourself a favor and do NOT book this hotel. The only good thing is the shuttle and the gentleman was very courteous.

Clean room and nice looking hotel, but many little details missing. The shower handle was falling all the time. The toilet was hard to flush. The key card for the door was working half of the time. They didnt have earplug at the front desk. The music in the pool area was stopping all the time. The exit door of the parking didnt work. We had to go to front desk two time for them to open the door for us to be able to leave. Nice to hace : Bigger towels or bathrobe to be able to go to the pool without having to show off your swimming suit to everyone in the hallway. Really good view of the departing airplanes from my bedroom. Was really cool to watch !

Nice design and furnishings. Friendly staff and great amenities (pool, fitness, billiards, bar). But please, for the love of god, put a lock and exhaust fan in the bathroom!
