Hotel St André was not as pictured. The rooms were very small, not to mention very dirty. There were hairs between the bedsheets (indicative of not having been changed), large smudges across the mirror and piles of dirt. The entire floor smelled of marijuana and the upon turning on the TV the channel last left opened was pornography. Sound travelled incredibly easily, allowed for us to easily hear other guests conversations. Also, I spoke English to the concierge but was given a French contract to sign - stating things like no smoking allowed and they are not liable if your car is damaged - thankfully I understood the language but am not sure what would have arisen had I not. The location was very downtown, and may have just been our experience but did not seem the most safe at night. I would not recommend this place, nor will I ever return.

+ Good location, near Berri-UQAM station. Small room and breakfast delivered to the room. - Some staff weren't really supportive. Bad experience with the hotel's elevator.

It's a cheap hotel and as such you get cheap hotel quality. Nothing more and probably a bit less. The rooms were clean enough but you most certainly get what you pay for which is the location and pretty much nothing else.

Great Location. Helpful reception. We were offered late checkout when we requested for it. Breakfast delivered to room was mediocre.
