Read some of the reviews before booking, was a little sceptical at first but I’ll say that this hotel is our new found diamond in the rough. Nothing spectacular like the chain hotels but if you like rustic, different and character u will love your experience here. Every room is decorated differently, all having there own theme and style making this such a fun place to stay! The price can’t be beat and the location minutes away from downtown old Montreal! We opted out of the breakfast but there were many options surrounding the area. Coffee and tea is included and quite tasty and someone is at the desk 24/7 should u have any questions or concerns! Jessica and Safaa were both wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay spectacular!!!

Terrific location and 24h front desk service. Charming and hostel-style feeling. 😁

PROS: -It's a cozy building with friendly staff -It's maybe two blocks from a police station -Nearby indoor parking options -Lovely neighbourhoods around it -Cheap (we spent roughly $170 for 3 nights) -Works fine for one person or a couple CONS: -Don't bother with $7 breakfast -Room was about the size of a large bathroom -Toilet was behind an uncomfortably close curtain -Shower stall was cramped and right beside TV and bed, as was toilet -Staff isn't the most attentive -Feels a bit run-down, maybe needs repairs -You'll struggle a bit for proper showering water All in all, you get what you pay for for being in downtown Montréal. I'd probably come back for another night or two next time.

This place used to be my go-to hotel in Montreal, comfortable enough with all the essentials and good location with a reasonable price. Since last year I think they began to note your credit card number on the non smoke notification, and now even the CCV number. I pointed out to the front desk that this was not a secure procedure but they would not give the room key without taking these info.

Very good location, near St Denis and St Laurent streets. 10 mins from Plateau and other 10 mins from Downtown montreal. Stuff is friendly and nice. Rooms are ok, modest furniture, clean. More places for clothes would be good improvement. Also blackouts would give more comfort to guests Quality versus price , this is considered as a very good deal. I would strongly recommended it for short stays 1 night or 2.
