The staff is very nice and helpful, and the building has a nice historic vibe to it. I expected a lot of this hotel based on the great reviews I'd seen, but I have to say I did not like the place very much. My room was not very clean - there was dust, some dirt behind/under furniture, and hair that was not mine. The bed was very hard and the bedcover old and full of tuft (my reservation confirmation promised quality bedlinen). Also, I have travelled quite a lot and I did not find the breakfast particularly amazing for a 3-star hotel, in fact it was quite basic. I have to give credit to the staff though - they tried to fix things and offered me a bit better room, but I chose to check out after one night and spend my remaining two days in another hotel.

Had a wonderful time here. The staff was helpful and did whatever they could to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and Laurier, the owner, makes sure everything is fresh and just delicious.

Charming, conveniently located and with a polite staff. It's a nice alternative to corporate hotels and I would gladly spend a weekend there again. The breakfasts are a little light but otherwise a solid off-the-beaten-path option.

Great Service! The rooms are immaculately clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is very delicious with great variety.
