My significant other and I went to stay for four nights and five days for a trip in Montreal. The service was friendly and the breakfasts were great. The rooms were clean and had the necesities, Although the floors were a bit sticky and the room smelled somewhat of cleaning products. We recommend bringing slippers. The location was fantastic, right in the Latin quarter of old Montreal and very close to the metro and a bunch of great restaurants. Overall positive experience, especially for the value.

Highly recommended! Very polite and bi-lingual staff, clean comfortable rooms and delicious continental breakfast. Located in an AWESOME area of Montreal for exploring, seeing tons of beautiful public art and murals, eating incredible food and drinking - all right outside the Hotel Auberge front door!!

Not like advertised on website and Facebook. Outside and hallways looked nice and professional looking. Well decorated but such a let down when I got to my room. Horrible lighting leaving the whole room in shadows, and rather depressing. Bed was hard and not comfortable to lay on and the whole room and bathroom could use some work. Lock to the room was questionable too. No way was I going to stay here. Thank goodness a friend took me in that night but the next day when I tried to get a refund for that day cause I didn’t want to stay the weekend there, they refused to refund me. Will never go back. Go here only if you’re desperate.

They say location is what makes a location, and this hotel is located perfectly. Walking distance from good food, easy access to transit, good priced rooms, and nice staff. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I were in Montreal on my own. Crêpes for breakfast every day was a highlight.
