This was our first trip to beautiful Quebec City. We stayed for two nights here and it was a great choice. We stayed in room 4 on the second floor. The room was much larger than the photos indicated and was very cozy with huge windows and a beautiful stained glass doorway onto a balcony overlooking the street (although we didn’t use it, being cold and blustery in November!). Ensuite Bathroom is small but well fitted with a very comfy tub. As mentioned it is a 3/4 wall, but as a couple, that didn’t bother us. The two double beds are firm, but comfortable and I slept extremely well. The free Breakfast is self serve that you take to your room - croissants, muffins, fruit, coffee, tea etc. I found it very charming. The location is great, inside the city walls within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, convenience stores — the whole old city. Parking is not free, as it says in some places online, but is discounted via a ticket the owner gives you. The designated underground parking is about a 10 minute walk away. The downstairs entrance does smell of smoke, but the rooms do not at all. Don’t expect a sterile chain hotel - if you want that go somewhere else! The house is old and it shows, giving it the feel of a cross between an AirBnB and a traditional Inn. Overall a great, cozy place to stay with a friendly polite host and homey feel at a great price! I’d highly recommend to anyone on a budget who likes to feel like they are coming home at the end of the day.

This is not the Chataeu Frontenac but if you want a decent place to stay while in QC that is cozy, cute, cool, clean, with lots of charm, you can't beat the price and location - everything is walkable from here! Marc was friendly with recommendations on what to do nearby. The croissants in the morning were also very fresh.

Good place for a stay. Croissant and coffee included. Bedroom clean and ready to welcome you. Just take note it's an old house remodeled as an hotel with mean shared bathroom.

This place is awesome. I guess it dates back to some decades ago and everything is lovely. Location is great cuz it's just at the neighborhood of old Quebec. The manager (Marc) is a very nice and helpful guy as well. Well, there can be some minor issues popping out like the hair dryers not working and stuff, but given the price and experience, it is cool.

It's very clean and beautiful. He owner was very kind. The bathrooms don't have sealing, so you can hear the person from the top and the tin wall. In the room there no smell and very clean, but there a smell of cigarettes downstairs where we had to enter ( I did like the smell, but since it's not in my room, it's ok)
