Family-owned and completely charming motel. Rooms: Very good! Yes, not the most modern spaces inside (we used two rooms and both were completely functional and clean) with clean bathrooms and carpets that were replaced probably a year or two ago and in great shape. Mini fridge and microwave in one, other was a single room without extra amenities. When on vacation in the Adirondacks you should not be spending your time in the room other than to sleep and shower. Facilities: Superior! Canoes, kayaks, bikes, pool, paddle boats and SUPs available for free right outside your door. Spectacular sunset views from lake-facing rooms. Really good value for the price. Service: Extraordinary! Seriously, six-star service from the staff without the posh attitude. Responsive, quick and exceptionally personable. They say “we treat you like family” but they treat you better than most families! I experienced and witnessed customer service that was as good or better than some of the finest hotels I have stayed at around the world. Overall, a great location within walking distance of bars, restaurants and other amenities. But the service makes this stand head and shoulders above the rest!!
