All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They gave me a discount - either for being a trucker, or for being old - not sure which; I can confirm, though, that they have an old trucker's discount. They let me keep my luggage in my room when I went to pick up my truck which wasn't ready, and let the luggage stay in the room until I came back to pick it up, which was four or five hours after checkout and they didn't charge me any extra. And they were still friendly! The room was very clean and the bed was very nice, they had lots of towels and the hot water was actually hot all the time. They also gave me a free breakfast for Smittys and it was for an actual meal, not a stale muffin with coffee.

Concierge service is about average, rooms were clean; however there are no hygiene products besides bar soap. You have to get other products at the main desk. Pets allowed for $25. Attached bar had $11 triples, had to stay for a few with that deal. Key cards can take a while to make work. Overall about a slightly under-average experience.

I stay at hotels about 300 days a year and this hotel gets some simple things right that bug me about higher end hotels. For example, they put the shower curtain at the end of the tub/shower that is farthest from the toilet. Most places put it in the end closest to the toilet. My one complaint is that some entrance doors are locked quite early, around 8pm. So you need to go through the front or the entrance near the lounge after that time. I have had a vehicle broken into there also, but i left something valuable in sight, so I guess I am partially responsible. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

I gave 2 stars only because the Staff is friendly. The rooms are less than desireable my room did not have a working toilet, curtain rods were broken and would fall if you attempt to open or close them and there was a strong noxiouse perfumed smell in the room. Night staff was unsure of weather or not rooms were occupied, booking an already occupied room giving the current tenant a scare when strangers unlocked the door and walked in.

Easy to locate coming from Yorkton to Regina, wasn't pricey, polite and patient staff, breakfast at the joined Smittys was good, and the A/C worked really well. Room and lobby weren't dirty but there was a lot of water on the floor by the ice maker. There is a pool and hot tub but we didn't have time for them.
