Probably one of the best ( but WAY over seasoned) steak dinners I've had in a pub. Tender steak, little gristle, actually cooked the way I requested, decent portioned sides. When they didnt have the dip I requested, they mixed up a substitute from ingredients on hand. A slightly dated atmosphere but clean with good service.

Don't let the outside of thus place fool you. Rooms are very spacious and updated. Everything seemed very clean. The staff is friendly. Our group all had the steak night special. The steak was very tender and was a very nice cut. I am hesitant to order steak because I like it rare and most bars overcook it. This was cooked perfectly and had a nice flavour. It also came with two sides with large portions. The bar itself has the traditional small town appeal with an updated modernized look. The service was great as well.

The waitresses are pretty great. They are decently fast and always fun to talk too. Only downside is when it's an event night, they are understaffed so drinks take a while. But will still go back!

The staff are wonderful. Food is good. Price is very reasonable. The inside is a little dated and dark, but the staff make up for that.

Unfortunately after booking a non smoking room, I was given a smoking room. Apparently if you bring a pet you have to have a smoking room. Due to health issues I couldn't stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful to provide a resolution for this.
